This dispatch software which we supply free of charge supports you in the preparation, posting and documentation of your shipments.

Global Mail PostKIT Download

The Global Mail PostKIT will considerably simplify the processing of your items as you can opt for additional international services. In addition to the software-based preparation of items for dispatch, you will also be able to create all the necessary posting documents yourself and to archive all posting data for your own purposes using this software.

And with the integrated query on the status of shipments, you will be able to check the status of your shipment at all times. Make use of our innovative offer comprising the following features:
  • Print relevant recipient addresses on labels.
  • Print forms (e.g. advice of delivery, international inpayment money order for COD).
  • Create and print any number of electronic posting lists.
  • Combine your target groups/recipients into groups.
  • Archive and evaluate data.
  • Check on shipment status and, if necessary, place an inquiry order online.

Global Mail PostKIT is a dispatch software which greatly facilitates the preparation and dispatch of international registered mail. At the same time, this program also supports client and address management as well as the archiving and analysis of the data in question. The mail item status can also be called up through an integrated status query.
The dispatch software is intended for all customers who prepare their items for dispatch using a PC and can therefore be used by small and large companies with a corresponding item volume.

Computer system

  • PC, at least with Intel Pentium processor or comparable. Pentium II recommended.
  • hic resolution: min. 800x600, high colour
  • At least 32 MB working memory; 64 MB recommended
  • 100 MB spare hard drive capacity for programs and data

Additional requirements

Printer

  • All Windows-compatible system printers (however, laser printers are recommended as the barcodes require a high-quality resolution)
  • Requirements for using online services
  • You need Internet access to use these services optimally.
  • Supported types of Internet access:
       - Local network LAN
       - Data transfer network via telephone dial-up
       - T-Online
       - AOL
A data transfer network is only possible if a data transfer connection is set up to the Windows network connections. Select the data transfer connection which Global Mail PostKIT should use for the connection setup.
T-Online and AOL are only available as an option if the provider software is installed on the system.
You need an Internet browser to directly and optimally call up HTML pages containing information on the item's status. Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher is supported.
The dispatch software can be downloaded free of charge from.
Information can be printed on the advice of delivery and COD international payment card using Global Mail PostKIT. To ensure perfect print quality, we recommend inserting the forms into the printer in landscape format. Alternatively, you can produce a suitable label for the advice of delivery and then stick it on the advice of delivery.

Posting dockets can be created and printed out using Global Mail PostKIT. The posting docket is also accepted by our mail terminal. It is possible to select the required number of posting dockets using this software.
You can call up the item's current status via www.dhl.com/mail (the customer can choose between a single query or multiple query here). In addition, the customer has the option of entering the item's status manually under the "Item management" menu option.
Global Mail PostKIT gives you the option of exporting the addresses you have saved in order to use them in other programs.
You can call up this function using the menu Master data - Addresses - Export addresses.
The following formats/interfaces can be used for the address export:
  • Text with separators
  • Microsoft Excel from version 5.0
  • Microsoft Access
  • FoxPro
  • dBase
  • XML
You have the option of importing addresses which you have saved in other formats into address management as an external address book.
You can start this function using the menu Master data - Addresses - Import addresses.

Global Mail PostKIT offers you client setup and management services. If you, as a service provider, manage a mail room for other companies (or, for example, for subsidiaries or branches of your company), you can manage and post addresses and items separately by client.
Global Mail PostKIT gives you the option of assigning your customers to specific categories (e.g. sales regions, industries). In this way, you can select groups specifically for bulk mailings and therefore control your dispatch effectively.
After the initial configuration, the registration screen will already contain your master data. If required, complete or correct the information. Mandatory fields are marked as such.
You can send your registration request online or print it out and post it to the address indicated.
After your have registered, you will receive a letter in the post giving you your access data. To be able to use all functionalities, please enter your ID in the activation dialogue, which you can call up using the menu Requests - Global Mail PostKIT.
